NVIDIA – Compatible Driver Issue?
Hey, here is the deal,
I have a Sony Laptop -
Model Name VGN – FZ17G
Model Number PCG – 38CP
Graphics Card – NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU notebook graphics processing unit (GPU)
I had not updated my drivers since i bought the laptop, so I went to sony and downloaded the driver i thought was the right one by the information i provided, it said to uninstall the old one first and restart, so i went to device manager and uninstalled the driver, restarted and the computer automatically installed standard VGA graphics adapter, i now have no NVIDIA programs, when i go to install the NVIDIA driver and it begins to load but than cuts out and says ” Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. setup will now exit.”
Please Help
