Motherboard has 2 pciE slots. does it matter which i put my video card in?
1 pcie slot has an arrow saying for single and the other says for dual. can i put it in the slot saying for dual cuz my 9800 gtx wont fit in the other one
yup, but it may be only x8 pci-e
some motherboards have a x16 and a second x8 for bandwidth reasons.
yours may be modern enough to have dual x16s
but either way it shouldn’t affect performance all that much as even a 8800ultra cant use all that pci-e bandwidth at once
