why is it important to upgrade your cpu?
why is it important to upgrade your cpu/processor?
THAT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION AND THE AGE OF YOUR COMPUTER. Though some have stated it is pointless to upgrade your CPU, that is not always the case you have several options before upgrading your cpu tho, first off you would need a reason to do so, and you would also want to determine what it is you feel you are lacking.
You should benchmark your system to identify individual issues such as memory,Graphics, and storage transfer speeds and of course processing power(cpu) before you upgrade anything on your PC…if your pc is slow most of the time memory will help, if games are at low settings and run slow a Video card can help,if your pc runs programs fast but takes a long time to load A faster hard drive will help.
If you still have problem after that then maybe upgrade your cpu, to do that you should find out what the best cpu your motherboard Handle and if your motherboard cannot handle at least the last generation of CPU’s I would then most likely buy a new computer…As of now if your computer cannot run an AMD AM2+ cpu i would not upgrade or An INTEL CORE2DUO with a FSB of 1333 I would not upgrade
