Adding memory stick…?
I plan on installing a Multimedia Video Card and then for better speed and preformance I also plan on adding another memory stick. I can take a computer apart, put it back together, solve errors and other operation issues, so I must say at this point in time I feel like an idiot when it comes to installing a simple memory stick.
I removed my memory stick that is currently in there (of course turning the computer off and removing the power cable before even touching anything near the motherboard) and there were no names or any major things printed on it that could tell me what to purchase next, I hate going to Circuit City and them trying to con me into paying something I don’t even need so here are the specifics I got off it and hoping I can get some more information so I can just walk in, get what I need and leave. 8M – 133 Mhz, if you can help me figure out what I need please let me know! Memory manufacturers will have a utility on their website to tell you how to tell which memory and configurations will work with your computer.
Determine the type of memory you need, print that info, take that to the store!
