Line Conditioner
broke line on air conditioner white stuff came out. Is it dangerous?
I got the a/c unit out of the house but some of the stuff still filled the house. I opened the windows and left the house for a few hours. hope that’s all i needed to do.
Nope!!!! it is just cheaper to just replace the window unit itself because the tech will cost you some good labor plus parts especially freon. I don’t know how old the unit is but a new will will be of less worries for a while just keep cleaning the filter. what you saw was the Freon evaporating to the atmoshere. it is against EPA regulation to vent intentionally to the atmosphere, that is why freon is now regulated
