Gigabyte Motherboard
can my S-Series ga-p35-s3g Gigabyte motherboard run an Nvidia Geforce 9600GT graphics card?
Hi, I have an S-Series ga-p35-s3g Gigabyte motherboard, with 2 PCI-E slots.
I want to be buying an Nvidia geforce 9600GT graphics card for my pc, replacing my ATI all in wonder x1800.
Would I be able to run this graphics card on this motherboard? Of course I would need the power supply for it aswell, but I think I have that.
It goes in the PCI Express x16 slot.
Power Requirements:
9600GT models
Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply
(minimum +12 Volt current rating of 26 amps)
An available 6 pin PCI-E power connector

Will the insides of a dell dimension 2350 fit in a Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case?
no reason why not… unless Dell decided to mess with the motherboard… big-picture it should work, but you might have small problems like mobo setup, connecting power button/LEDs/USBs… your back panel might also not fit properly (you know the thing that covers your mouse/keyboard/ethernet/USB sockets in the back) but worst case scenario you dont really NEED it to be there… its nice to have it to stop the dust from getting in but I guess the flip side is that it will improve your cooling

Does my FUJITSU SIEMENS GA-8S649MF have a PCIe slot??
basically im confused…
i used everest ultimate edition to see what slots i had and it states i have a PCIe slot yet the book i recieved with my computer only mentioned PCI and AGP slots yet i believe this book may be generic to the Scaleo series.
my summary is as follows:

atm i am using a 6200 se nvidia card i believe yet i think judging from this its slotted in the PCIe slot which i believe u can do
question is if everest say i have a PCIe slot is it reliable before i spend alot on a high end Graphics Card
Hi there,
I have got the same motherboard in my Scaleo P. The best information I have found on the board has been in the boards manual, albeit in german:
http://217.6.37.131/treiber/PC/Mainboards/Gigabyte%20GA-8S649MF-FS/Man_GA-8S649MF.pdf
The manual lists all the ports for the motherboard, so the short answer is:
Yes, the black PCI slot on the board is a 16x PCI-Express slot.

You should also give some consideration to what level of a graphics card you benefit the most from. The current high end cards are probably too fast for your current processor and memory speeds which will form performance bottlenecks.
Riser Board
Do you think size 52mm wheels would be ok without risers?
I hate risers because my old board had them and it doesn’t feel right. Are size 52mm wheels good or should I go a bit smaller to prevent wheel bite a bit more?
52-54 are pretty good without risers if u skate street
