Lcd Matte
what are some good 17″ glossy-screen LCD’s?
preferably for US $250 or less.
i am looking to update my desktop monitor and am not very impressed with the standard matte-finish ones i see all over the place. the surface seems very dull and the the colors not as vibrant as the glossies. anyone know of any good reasonably priced ones that don’t have much of a glare issue?
if in fact they all suffer from as much glare as the ‘anti-gloss’ people claim they do, are there any good unobtrusive screen filters? thanks!
Check out the first three monitors to see if they work for you:

Good luck and happy buying!!! Merry Christmas!
Pin External
How do i connect my external seagate hard drive to my pc???
i need to know what cables i need. on the hdd i see something with 39 pins, then one with eight and a black thing in covering the second to left pins, and then four bigger pins. i dont know what cables i need to connect this to my computer
If you bought the HDD as an external one, you should have everything you need. If you didn’t, I recommend a case to protect it, and you will need an IDE to USB adapter.
Look online for one. If you can’t find them, I sell the adapters off my web site as well as external cases (may not be listed). http://www.rivercitycustomcomputers.com.
Pci Modem
how can use a pci modem by using of a micro-controller circuit replace of using personal computer?
I want to send and receive a few bytes of data between 2 devices by using a telephone line and conventional pci modems. I want to use a small microcontroller circuit to drive pci modem replace of a PC.
That’s unlikely to work. What power supply will you be using? There are probably better ways to go about that, but you’ll need to pay for the spy devices that you want to make cheaply and can’t really accomplish that way… McGyver was a TV show, not real life.
Thermally Conductive
What is the most thermally conductive material in the universe? (natural or synthetic)?
I know that copper and silver are neck and neck, with diamond dominating copper five-fold. I’ve heard that liquid He is like a thermal super conductor in its super fluid state, but I have yet to see the numbers.

I just wanted the best KNOWN conductor.
Diamond is the best thermal conductor at room temperature. High purity oxygen free copper’s conductivity climbs by orders of magnitude as the temperature falls toward absolute zero. I don’t know what is best near zero kelvin, though.
