Extension Cable


What is the best way of extending the flash of slr cameras away from the hot shoe? £30 for the extension cable

I want to sync a couple of flashes “off” the camera as a cheap way of studio lighting for REAL amateur studio effects with diffusing material of some sort. I have seen the hot shoe extension leads but these are £30 odd, is there a cheaper way of doing this as it seems expensive for a lead? I would ideally like to run two or three lights from one camera. What should i buy and where from????

The cheap way would be just using pc-sync cables wouldn’t it, or does your body not have an old style sync terminal?

Name of tool to take back cover off Philips LCD 47″ LCD TV?

I have the philips lcd tv model number 47PFL3603D/27, I need to take the back cover off to replace the power supply. Does anyone know the name of the tool you need to take the back cover off? It doesn’t take a normal screw driver.

what does the head of the screws look like ?
if it looks like…:
a star with 6 tips, its called a torxs head ( its most likely to be this one )
a stop sign, its an allen head
a little square, its a square tip head

Bottom Base

How can I connect firewire to my Thinkpad Type2373?

I need to connect my MiniDV camcorder to my with a firewire connection. I went to BestBuy and they sold me a Firewire 800 ExpressCard Adapter along with a 6/4-pin Cable. I hooked up everything up except I can’t find a port on my Thinkpad to plug the adapter into…Do you have any suggestions?

if you can’t plug it in, you’re kinda screwed. i would bring your laptop and camcorder to best buy they should help you out.

Stock Lot


Will EA stock go up a lot when Madden 10 comes out?

Madden games are always top sellers, so are the NCAA Football games. So does that have any influence on the stock going up?

A good way to check would be to see if EA stock went up in conjunction with the previous release dates of Madden.

If it seems to hit a spike in July/August when past versionsof Madden were released, you may be on to something.
