Is a Magnavox 37” Digital LCD HDTV with ATSC/QAM Tuner 37MF337B_37 a good tv?
I received this TV as a gift over the holidays and was wondering if its a good tv and wondering if it will give me any problems? If it will give me problems, what should I do to avoid them? It goes all the way up to 1080i! Please let me know..
It also came with this paper work slip saying that I need to fill it our and send it in for the warranty so that no one will ask for a receipt for the warranty. Its like a registration form. Should I fill this out?
Magnavox is a lower tier set. You can expect it to be less reliable than the top tier sets, and for there to be less service available after the warranty is over. You should consider getting an extended warranty.
Card Dvd
how do I burn files from my memory card to my computer so I can burn the files to a dvd?
I am trying to get my pictures from my memory card to a dvd and cant figure out how to do it. I have windows xp
Use a USB upload cable to connect the device to the computer, or plug the memory card into a card reader. MS Windows should recognize the card as a removable disk drive. Then copy the pictures to a new directory on the local hard drive.
From there, copy the files to the CD or DVD and burn the disk as usual. (I personally use Nero to make the disk; it validates the burned disk, which MS Windows’ built-in burning software doesn’t do.)
Diagnostic Tool
Is there a diagnostic tool out there to diagnose electrical shorts and more or less pinpont them?
Yes its called a DVOM or digital volt ohm meter.
