Memory Flash
How do I put music on a flash memory micro SD card for my phone from the computer?
I have a samsung t629 and I just got a flash memory micro SD card. The card came with a regular size SD card that is an adapter and a mini card to put in my phone. My computer has a slot that fits the adapter but nothing for the mini card. How do I get the music on the card from the computer to put on my phone. Please help!! (the card came with NO instructions)
You put the Micro SD card in the adapter, and the adapter in the PC. It will then show up as being a drive under My Computer.
Pin Adapter
Is a place that sells an adapter that has a male 3-pin mini din at one end and a female Coax on the other end?
I’ve found several outlets that will custom make cables and even checked Radio Shack but they all required minimum 1000 piece order. I am wanting either one, two, or all three pins of the mini din to connect to the center wire of a coax for a specific purpose. If an intermediate adapter between another connection type and coax is required this will be acceptable too.
Try Black Box. If what you want is anywhere near anything they already make, it’s only a few extra dollars for a modification and you don’t have to get thousands.
You could also try a local technician training school (ITT or ??) to see if someone there would want to make a few $$ to build your cable for you.
If there’s a Fry’s nearby, just hang around the parts until someone who looks like they know what they’re doing comes by and ask them if they know someone who could do it. If they can’t do it, they probably know someone who would/could.
Led Cpu
If the LED on a motherboard is on, but the computer won’t turn on, is the motherboard broken?
I’m sure its not the power supply because the motherboard’s LED is lit. Shouldn’t be the CPU either because the computer would still boot and give an error… Am I right to assume its the motherboard itself?
If motherboard LED is ON, power supply +5V SB (standby) rail is OK but not necessarily all the other rails.
To test power supply, unplug its connectors to motherboard and the drives. Leave a fan connected. Then on the 20 or 24 pin ATX power connector, look for the pin w/ the GREEN wire. Short it with any adjacent pin w/ a BLACK wire. If PSU fan and attached fan rotate, PSU is OK.
To test if power button is not the problem, switch on the motherboard directly. With a small screw driver, short the two pins on the front panel connector that is labeled PWR SW.
If PSU fan and cpu fan rotates for a second or two then stops, there could be a short circuit on one of the devices or mobo to PC case.
Otherwise, mobo is dead.
Ddr Dimension
would a Centon 512MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory work on a dell dimension 4550?
i have a dell dimension 4550 that i bought like 2390482 years ago and its slow. so, i just want to upgrade it.
I recommend a free scan of the computer at Crucial. Not only will say how much and what type of memory (RAM) the computer has installed, it will tell you how much more and of what type can be add per slot.

Dell Part
Are replacement keys, just the black top part, available for a Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop?
I left my pet bird unsupervised and he pecked the tops off the two top rows of keys and the J. Others were loosened and I pressed them back on, but he broke off the little peg on the back of 21 keys.
You can find both replacement key kits and the complete replacement keyboard for your Dell model here:

Since your bird removed so many of the keys, I’d say it would be simpler to switch out the keyboard unit instead of repairing all those individual keys.
