Bezel Assembly
Where can I find interior dash/console parts for a 2000 Hyundai Elantra?
Hi,
I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra that was broken into and vandalized. As the intruder tried to steal my radio, he/she ripped out the center dash. Anyway, I took the car to the dealer to get it checked out and they gave me a list of parts I would need. Problem is, they are quite expensive through them (and I didn’t report it to the insurance company for various reasons). My question is – is there anywhere online I can find the parts I need? Even used? I’ve looked and can’t seem to find what I need. Here’s the list:
1. 84740-29510CA Center Dash Bezel – $243.50
2. 84651-29200CA Shift Cover Bezel – $29.18
3. 97250-29550 Heater Control Assembly – $260.72
4. 94950-29000 Dimmer Switch – $54.55
5. 84790-29100CA Cup Holder Assembly – $97.72
Thanks for any and all help! – who knew pieces of plastic could be so flippin’ expensive
I would try the junk yards… but by the way you talk will assume you already tried them. Other than that, good luck.

Supply Fits
I have a cq5210y and they say the computer case is a “mini-tower” will a 400w+ power supply fit?
My computer comes with a 250w power supply and I would like to get a 400w or larger PSU so i can upgrade the integrated graphics card. Are the dimensions of my computers case going to make it impossible for me to get a higher watt psu?
COMPAQ PRESARIO CQ5210Y DESKTOP PC
has a Part Number 5188-2622
250-watt (max) power supply (Zinfandel), Bestec ATX-250-12V)
Since it is ATX, you can replace it with another ATX size power supply with higher wattage. It is a standard size.
Sla Battery
Where can i find this kind of battery charger?
We are doing a project that requires us to use lead- acid 12V batteries- 5 of them- in series to create 60V through an electric car to power it. If possible we need a 60V 5A charger to charge the batteries in series so we dont have to connect them everytime.
We are using 5 SLA 1116 Sealed Lead Acid Batteries. 12V, 18AH each.
If you know where i can find a charger that would help it would help a lot.
Modern chargers contain electronics to vary the voltage as the battery charges up and some even contain complex algorithm’s. These all help maximize battery life. You can, however, construct a basic charger with minimal components that will charge the batteries without problem.
Rule of thumb for charge rate is Ah/5, so in your case you need a charge current of around 3.6A. You need a transformer and rectifier of around 70 volts and a voltage regulator so you can adjust the voltage until you get your 3.6A. A tapped transformer will work but you may have to settle for the voltage tap that gives you the closest below 3.6A charge current.
Any electronics store worth anything will sell you the items and tell you how to put it together.
Heatsink Copper
Heatsink on Bridges VS Copper Silent Pipe Thermal Solution??
ok
im reading specs on mobos ..and not veru sure what they mean
on one mobo, it says, as …. “thermal solution” …
“Heatsink on north and south “bridges”"
on the other one it says ” All Copper Silent Pipe” and “CRAZY COOL ?” What does that mean?
so what are teh differences and which one would be better?
its for a gaming PC..?
Thank you
If its for a serious Gaming PC you want watercooling, its expensive but if you want to overclock its a must. You probably want a heatsink and fan on north and southbridges as they get very hot. Silent Pipe means it needs no fan it just uses a copper conducting pipe. regards
