Intel Quad
What is the difference between “Intel core 2 quad processor” and “Amd Quad Core processor”?
I want 2 bye a quad processor. But i dont understand why intel is more costlier than amd. so plz tell me the diference b/n them…. plz…..
Here’s the deal.
For the past three years or so, Intel has been dominating AMD in the processor market. Intel’s processors run far more efficiently than AMD’s do. This is why an Intel 3.0ghz quad will cost much more than an AMD 3.0ghz quad.
Intel processors of the same speed as AMD processors run faster. That’s all there is to it.
Drive Internal

Button Board
I just installed a new mother board, now my sleep button does not work. How do I correct this?
I have windows xp pro.
First port of call is to check your front panel connectors, if these are all connected correctly then you’ll probably have to delve into the BIOS. There should be an option for SW Switch – suspend/resume, if not then the sleep function is probably not supported.
Itx Motherboard
Where can I buy the cables that attach to the power/reset buttons on a computer case and the motherboard?
I am building a NES PC and I have most of the parts but since I am building the computer into a NES and not a regular computer case I don’t have the cables that are attached to the power/reset buttons and have a two pin female connector that you plug into the motherboard. I am using a Jetway Mini-ITX motherboard if that matters.
To get a good setup going you’re most likely going to have to trim and attach wires of your own. You’ll need to make one end attached to a regular connector that connects to the LED interface on your motherboard. The other end will have to be attached to whatever switches the electrical current on and off.
There really isn’t an easy fix for this. It would help if you look up a tutorial on building PC cases, since you’re basically doing that. Good luck on your project!
