Pin Sata

Pin Sata

why is it possible to convert 4 pin molex into sata but not the other way around?

Because SATA is a newer connector, that newer drives will be using. Seldom would one be expected to be using older drives in a newer system.

Can a Garmin AC Adapter Model ADP-5FH B be used with Garmin Nuvi 600 Series GPS and Nuvi 700 Series GPS?

That is actually not the part number, all Garmin part numbers are 010-xxxxx-xx. However, I can still answer the question. If the charger has a mini USB connector and will fit in the plug, it will work. This is a universal charger and can be used with all newer Garmins as well as Motorola Phones, Blackberrys, Cameras, etc.

Laptop Cardbus

How do I install a USB 2.0 Cardbus in my Turion64 laptop notebook?

Do you have a cardbus slot? It is also known as the PMCIA slot. If yes then you can continue. If no then you cannot install it.

Check the documentation that came with the USB cardbus. If you don’t have it then I suggest you look at the model number written on the USB cardbus and go to the manufacturer web page to find it. You need to know if any drivers are required before you plug it in. If drivers are required then make sure you install them as directed by the manual.

The USB cardbus card just slides into the cardbus slot in the laptop. It should not be forced. It should easily slide in. If it doesn’t want to go in then flip it over. Make sure the USB ports are facing outward. Your laptop should respond in some way when the cardbus is properly fitted in. A light or indication should come on. If not then you should see a new green icon show in the taskbar.

Once you are done using your USB cardbus you ALWAYS should remove it properly.

Follow this guide on how to do that: http://www.unisa.edu.au/helpoffice/windows-explorer/remove.asp
