Intel Dual
What are the differences between Intel Dual Core, Core Duo and Core 2 Duo processors?
Which is the best value for money? Which is best for multitasking? Which is best for graphics? Which is the most reliable? (I know other factors like memory must be considered, but for now I want to consider the processor).
Core 2 Duo is the latest apart from the Intel Quad Core. Get yourself a Core 2 Duo, they are great for all uses, such as gaming and running lots of applications.
Also great for overclocking if you ever got around to that.
Lcd Light
Laptop screen shows but lcd light isnt on…?
I can see everything but it hard to see… and the lcd light isnt working.
I assume you have tried adjusting the brightness from the keyboard buttons and from the Control Panel?
Use the OS CDs that came with it to boot into Safe mode. Do the backlights work now? If so, readjust the brightness control in Safe mode, and reboot the machine normally. DO NOT adjust the brightness in normal mode.
If the backlight doesn’t work when booted from the CD, then likely your backlights have burnt out or the connection or the power circuit to them is defective. Take the machine to a technician or contact the manufacturer if it is still under warranty.
Presario Laptop
Is there a bluetooth feature on the Compaq Presario laptop series?
My laptop is a Compaq Presario CQ50-130US and my parents gave it to me as a Christmas present. I noticed my friend’s laptop is a Mac and has Bluetooth so she can upload pictures from her phone to her laptop via Bluetooth. Does the CQ50-130US have this feature? Is it possible to get Bluetooth for this laptop?
You can purchase what is called a “bluetooth dongle” which looks like a thumb drive. You just plug it into your usb port and then you have bluetooth. Most electronic stores should stock them such as dick smith or tandy.
External Audio
Need External cd changer for Mercedes Benz MB audio 10 CC?
I have a mercedes benz C180. It has MB audio 10 CC fitted to it and i need an external cd changer which is compatible to it. The original Mercedes Benz cd changer too costly so i was thinking if cd changers from other companies like kenwood or pioneer would be compatible or not… Did anyone try this one out? I mean a different company cd changer to the Mercedes Benz audio system?
well there mioght be a possibility but i think your better off asking an audio shop or maybe just changing the stereo and getting a cd changer compatible with that one it might be easier but i do know that they sell a harness so you can connect a cd changer to it so you might get lucky and find one
